The start of 2019 brought changes to Group CBS as CBS Southeast in Gonzales, Louisiana, changed its identity to Circuit Breaker Sales & Repair - Louisiana. The shop will serve as a satellite location for La Porte-based CBS&R - Texas. The border-sharing companies have big goals and a big vision that will impact the Gulf Coast for years to come.
To keep pace with the rapid growth at CBS&R - Texas, the shop in the swamp needed a boost in the breaker shop to springboard into the future. CBS&R management turned to one of its own, Heath Holder, to relocate from La Porte to Gonzales to manage the shop.
“It only made sense to find someone who knows the CBS&R standards and procedures needed to run a successful breaker repair shop,” says Lee Heine, president of -CBS&R. “Heath is an up-and-coming star within the Group, and we are confident he can take this shop to where want it to be.”
Holder has worked in the power distribution industry for nearly 20 years and is a seasoned technician. ready to seize the opportunity. “I have spent my time in both breaker shops and in the field, but it has always been a goal of mine to run a shop of my own,” Holder says. “Thanks to Lee, Roger Vogel, and Izzy Sosa, I have finally made it.”
Holder’s work ethic, passion, and desire to lead and educate were major selling points for his relocation. “I love taking something old and making it new again,” he says. “I am excited to train the next generation of breaker technician and share with them my experiences and knowledge. I hope to also learn from them along the way.”
In his free time, Holder pours his passion of restoration in to his 1986 Buick and relishes in spending time with his wife Alicia, their four children, and his nephew.
